Mystery LCF GaN amps
So this is a work in progress we picked up on Ebay. We got a great deal on these on ebay. So these are 5 mystery GaN Gallium Nitride LCF Amplifiers. These are a very Kool wild card for the station. As i belive at least one is 0 to 200 mhz. We need a spectrum anylzer to fully anylze them. But were getting there.
Where do we go from here
Broadening our labs capabilities
So firstly we must aquire a few essentials. Such as a spectrum Analyzer, a proper Oscilloscope, and a few other essentials. From there we will be able to certify much more actionabale and Actualized information about the Amps.
Initial Assessment
LCF makes a quality and impressive amp period. These are well built and the form factor GaN provides is truly impressive. I look forward to testing and acquiring others in the future.. once I upgrade the facilities be sure to look for more in depth coverage.
Next steps in this Assesment
Well I look forward to more bench time with these beautiful LCF GaN amplifiers. They really are amazing little amps. I use the word little because Galium nitride allows for a very impressive form factor and stature. So now we will continue to upgrade our labs kit to take this assessment to the next level and grab some more for similar study and use. I really enjoyed my bench time with LCF.
